Teen Shot Overnight In Plainfield

Plainfield Police are investigating the shooting of a teenage boy on Monday night.

PLAINFIELD, NJ — Plainfield Police are investigating the shooting of a teenage boy on Monday night.

The 17-year-old teen was found at around 10:05 p.m. in the area of the 600 block of Berkman Street, according to a ShotSpotter alert.

Plainfield Police reported the teen had a non-life threatening-related injury and was uncooperative, Plainfield Police reported.

He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Detectives are investigating.
