SUMMIT, NJ — It's inevitable that many residents will have to race to the store on Thanksgiving for last-minute purchases, or for those who are less organized, all their groceries. Fortunately, many stores will be open in and around Summit Thursday, but watch out – some stores close early.

• Whole Foods Market, 222 Main St, Madison: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Kings Food Markets, 393 Main St, Chatham: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• ShopRite of Springfield, 727 Morris Turnpike, Springfield Township: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Trader Joe's, 155 Elm St, Westfield: Closed.
