Union County Business Ranked On Forbes' Best Employers List

Merck based in Kenilworth was the only Union County business Forbes named to its annual list of best large companies to work for.

Merck, Drugs & Biotechnology, was ranked No. 334.

The rankings of America's best large employers, those companies with more than 5,000 employees, placed tire manufacturer Michelin at the top of the list while the grocery chain Trader Joe's took the No. 2 spot and Google came in at No. 3.

Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to compile the list. Statista surveyed 30,000 people, asking respondents to rate how likely they'd be to recommend their employer to others, Forbes explains. Respondents were also asked to nominate organizations outside of their own, according to Forbes.
