​Warming centers will be open in Union County beginning Thursday night through Monday due to the freezing weather.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Warming centers will be open in Union County beginning Thursday night through Monday due to the freezing weather.

Warming centers will open in the lobbies at the following locations:

  • The Union County Division of Social Services in Elizabeth, 342 Westminster Ave.
  • The Union County Division of Social Services Building in Plainfield (Park-Madison Building), 200 West Second St.

The Centers will be open beginning Thursday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday morning, and continuing:

  • Friday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday morning.
  • Saturday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday morning.
  • Sunday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday morning.
