The 2018 Congressional Election is a critical milestone in saving American Democracy, reversing the evil and immoral GOP-Trump agenda and moving our nation forward on a progressive agenda based on putting people over the profit only principle.
NJ7's Congressional seat has been held by an ineffective Republican for nearly 10 years and given his reckless support for the current administration, we need to do everything we can to take that seat away from Leonard Lance. Given the level of interest and energy that I see everyday in NJ7, I believe we can accomplish
this goal.
There are 3 Democratic candidates running in the primary this coming June 5th, and everyone should get informed about this important choice to select the Democratic candidate that can lead us to victory in November.

I have been listening and reading about the Democratic candidates, and in my opinion, the real progressive is Peter Jacob.
Peter ran in 2016 without the out pour of support or interest, achieving the best results for the Democratic Party against Lance in NJ7 ever (43%).

For 2 years, Peter has been running on progressive policies like Medicare For All, $15 Federal minimum wage, and getting big money out of politics .
Peter's social work background qualifies him to understand and create legislation to address the many socio-economic injustices that establishment politicians haven’t been able to address even in 2018.
Peter is the only NJ7 Democratic candidate endorsed by Bernie Sanders (and other progressive
organizations like Justice Democrats, Progressive Democrats of America, Brand New Congress) for his People's Platform which add to the aforementioned issues: Fully Funded Higher Education (Public Colleges and Tech Schools), End the Private Prison Industry, Equal Pay for Equal Work, Gender Equality, Protecting
Net Neutrality, Strong Gun Safety Reforms, and more.
How can we talk of progress if we don’t strive to achieve a more healthy and educated population, a less violent and money-centered society, civil and human rights, and reducing income and access inequalities?!
I have met Peter at numerous local protests against the Trump administration, against gun violence, against our current Congressman, in support of healthcare for all and a living wage. Peter's public statements and his web site www.Jacob2018.com confirm his unequivocal commitment to the progressive cause.
Peter is always available for direct conversations, in person or via email (peter@jacob2018.com).
I strongly support Peter Jacob for Congress and I invite all the true progressives to support Peter as a viable candidate which will tilt our Congress on a much more forward-thinking course.
Sincerely,
Giovanni Sce
