SUMMIT, NJ — The World Cup is heading into its final stretch, and Summit residents will have a chance to watch the action together at a community viewing party this weekend.
The city will host a World Cup Viewing Party on the Village Green on Sunday, July 11, featuring screenings of two matches, along with food trucks, entertainment and activities for attendees.
The event will kick off with the Norway vs. England match at 5 p.m., followed by Argentina vs. Switzerland at 9 p.m.

Between matches, visitors can enjoy a magic show, music and inflatable bounce houses, according to city officials.
The event is designed to give residents a place to gather and experience the excitement of one of the world’s biggest sporting events as the tournament moves closer to its championship match on July 19.
