You Got Music In Your Soul? Downtown Summit Wants You

Summit Downtown, Inc. is looking for musicians for downtown events.

SUMMIT, NJ - For the second time in as many years, Summit Downtown, Inc. is looking for musicians for their Summit Street Sounds program. Summit Street Sounds debuted in 2018 and brought live music to downtown Summit Thursday evenings in June.

According to organizers, the overwhelmingly positive reception has prompted Summit Downtown, Inc. (SDI) to extend Street Sounds to include some Thursdays in May this year.

SDI is seeking musicians and street performers for a variety of events in 2019. All performance opportunities are outdoors, so performers must be able to play outside and provide their own sound equipment. Performance opportunities include (pending event approval by Summit Common Council): Summit Farmers Market (Sunday mornings), Summit Street Sounds (Thursday evenings, May/June), Arts + Cars (festival in September), etc.
