It was founded shortly one of our co-founders returned from demonstrations in Crawford, Texas, demonstrations demanding an end to the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Join us to mark the 21st anniversary of the Teaneck Peace and Justice Vigil to demand: Restore Temporary Protected Status for Haitians. No Wars on Gaza, Iran, Cuba! Release all detainees from ICE detention camps! Shut down detention camps around the U.S. Abolish ICE! Health care, not warfare.

Bergen County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is the only nonprofit in the county that recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers to advocate for children in the foster care system. These Advocates visit regularly, monitor well-being, and advocate in court for children’s medical, educational, and emotional needs—helping them heal and thrive.
