What’s Your Grief Café
What if there were a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental community space where you could go to freely express your grief and be heard—validated without anyone trying to "fix" you—surrounded by others who truly get it? Would you go?
And once you arrived, what if you were invited to share—or simply sit quietly if you weren't ready to speak? Would you feel comfortable enough to stay?
What if you were told you could converse with a lost loved one—a person or a cherished pet—via a "Wind Phone"? A direct line with no need to dial, where you can speak into the wind and feel heard. What would you say? What would you ask? How would it feel afterward?
And if the words were too hard to say aloud, what if you could put pen to paper at a writing station, seal your thoughts in an envelope, stamp it, and drop it in a mailbox? What would you write? What would you want them to know? Would it bring a sense of comfort and release?
You might be thinking to yourself: "There is no place like this..."
You would be wrong. I have created this exact place, with all of this and more—right here in your neighborhood.
