Class of 2011 Graduates Earn BP Community Scholarship

graduates Gerard Rice and Jennice Lavergne were among New Jersey students to each receive a $2,000 BP New York/New Jersey Community Scholarship Award, according to a press release.

Judges selected the students based personal statements, academic performance, extracurricular activates, work experience and individual goals, the release said.

The scholarship program was presented by owners and operators of BP businesses in the New York City, Long Island and Northern New Jersey.
