What does “Business Ethics” mean today? With high-profile frauds and failures, hacking, fracking, and sacking, cynics think it’s a figment or an oxymoron. Others see an opportunity for business to operate not just legally but ethically, pursuing corporate missions that exceed and enhance return on investment and shareholders’ value. The role of Chief Ethics Officer, what makes a corporation ethical, and the opportunities that exist to enhance the general ethical development of busines interests will be examined.
