Food Foraging: Find and Enjoy Wild Edible Plants

Saturday October 2nd 11:00am-1:00pm

Led by Debbie and Steve Adams learn about foods you can forage in your own neck of the woods. Walk through time on the trails of Teaneck Creek Conservancy, once home to Chief Oritani's Lenape tribe, as you encounter plants, trees, mushrooms and more used as ancestral foods, medicines and technologies used in days gone by. If you care to, you may  bring home samples of wild food complete with recipes.  Take this tour and see the familiar in a new way.  Free for members  $10  non members. To make a reservation call 201-836-2403 or email info@teaneckcreek.org.
