Heritage Pointe of Teaneck, a full-service rental retirement community, will host "Health Care Reform," which is open to the general public, on Thurs., Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. Reservations are requested.
Health Care Reform, which is affecting people of all ages - especially those age 65 and over, will be addressed by guest speaker John Gonyo of the AARP Speaker's Bureau. The Health Care Reform Bill, passed in 2010, has numerous changes and benefits impacting older adults, including Medicare cuts and a 50 percent discount on brand name drugs for those who are eligible.
