Speaker: Dr. Joseph Chuman, Leader,
The Ethical Culture Society of Bergen County
“Great national tragedies can become turning points out of which something better can be built. The tragedy of 9/11 does not seem to be one of them. One decade after the terror- ist assault on the United States, the road ahead does not seem bright. As such, we need to respond as we always have, namely, with a dogged faith in the values we hold most dear– reason, knowledge, the worth of all people and a belief in a better future if we work to make it so.”
The Ethical Culture Society of Bergen County welcomes people of all races, ethnic origins, religious backgrounds, and sexual orientations. The Society has a barrier-free front entrance.
