HACKENSACK, N.J.
– The Fairleigh Dickinson men’s and women’s basketball teams will be featured on national television four times this season as part of the Northeast Conference television package. The NEC officially announced its schedule of televised games on Thursday, October 22.

The men’s program will play three televised conference games starting with a Thursday night contest at Bryant on February 11. The Knights and Bulldogs will tip-off at 9 p.m. in Smithfield, Rhode Island with the game broadcast live regionally on MSG and nationally on Fox College Sports.

Two days (Feb. 13) later the men’s squad will be back in action at Stratis Arena against defending NEC Champion Robert Morris. That contest will tip off at 6 p.m. on Saturday night and air live on MSG, Root Sports and nationally on Fox College Sports.

The highlight of the television package will come the following Saturday, February 20, as the FDU men and women host Sacred Heart in a doubleheader broadcast nationally on ESPN3. The FDU women will tip-off with the Pioneers at 4 p.m. with the men’s game to follow at 7 p.m.

“We are very excited about this TV package that the NEC will present this season. The more exposure we can get the better,” head men’s basketball coach Greg Herenda said on Thursday. “Our team is going to play a very exciting brand of basketball and so does the rest of the NEC.
