The Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team will play #2 seed Rutgers on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.

INDIANAPOLIS – After securing the program’s first NEC Tournament title on Sunday with a 1-0 win over Robert Morris, the Fairleigh Dickinson women’s soccer team will play No. 2 seed Rutgers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

It will be the first NCAA game in program history for the Knights. Game time in Piscataway, New Jersey is set for 7 p.m. on Friday, November 13. The Scarlet Knights finished the season at 16-3-2 and lost to Penn State in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Fairleigh Dickinson (16-5) has won 12 games in a row, which is a program record and the 16 wins overall are the most in program history.

It will be the fifth time the two programs have met. Rutgers has won all four prior meetings. The winner would face either Hofstra or Georgetown in the second round.

Florida State is the top overall seed in the 64 team field.
