FDU's Livermore Named NEC Co-Player of the Week

FDU's Erika Livermore Named NEC Co-Player of the Week for her performance

SOMERSET, N.J. - Redshirt-senior Erika Livermore (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) has been named Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week after helping Fairleigh Dickinson top Saint Peter’s back on Wednesday night.

Livermore shares the honor with Aleah Epps of Central Connecticut.

The Nazareth, Pennsylvania native scored a season-high 23 points (9-of-10) to help the Knights claim the 73-52 win at the Stratis Arena inside the Rothman Center. Livermore was also efficient from the free throw line where she went 5-of-6 while adding four rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block.

The redshirt-senior is the second Knight to earn NEC Player of the Week honors this season-Kelsey Cruz (Chester, Va./Lloyd C. Bird) has earned it twice. It is the fifth time that Livermore has been named NEC Player of the Week in her career.

The Knights return to action on Friday at 5:30 p.m. against UMass Lowell and then on Sunday at 7 p.m. against Monmouth. Both games are at home in the Stratis Arena inside the Rothman Center.
