'Race to Nowhere' to be screened at Benjamin Franklin Middle School

The district will host a screening of the documentary film "Race to Nowhere" Nov. 7 in the third event the District's "Conversation Continues" series.

The program is being hosted by the Teaneck Board of Education’s Community Relations committee in partnership with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women’s Bergen County chapter as fundraiser for the Community Scholarship Fund of Teaneck, according to a press release.

"The Teaneck public schools Superintendent, Barbara Pinsak, explained that the district and NCBW 100 are reaching out to a wide range of community groups to participate in this series of conversations, which highlight a variety of critical—and often controversial—topics facing public schools, not only in Teaneck but throughout the United States," the release said.
