GRAB BAG and STOP & SHOP Team Up to Boost Food Kitchen Supply in Summer
Volunteers Needed to Race Against Time to Fill Bags with Food
WHO: Grab Bag, the eco-friendly grocery bag, has partnered up with Stop & Shop and Center For Food Action to bring awareness and increase food donations in summer months. During the summer months, food donations are down 78% compared to winter months.
WHAT: Grab Bag Challenge by TeleBrands will require participants to fill two Grab Bags with items from a list of needs provided by the local food kitchen. Participants will be given 5-minutes to complete the challenge. The 5-minutes represent the 1 in 5 people worldwide who go to bed hungry each night (Rehydration Project).
