
For the month of February, Hackensack Art Club is exhibiting at Hackensack Performing Arts Center (HACPAC). On Thursday, February 6th, is the reception. Please join us ! This is a wonderful opportunity to support local Artist. Month of Love and Art.
For more than eight decades, the Hackensack Art Club has played a major role in Hackensack’s cultural life. In 1938 a group of artists in this area held their first joint exhibit under the direction of Miss Mary Boggan, who was the head librarian of the Johnson Free Public Library.The Hackensack Art Club was formally organized on November 6th, 1939 with 24 members electing Emil Stange as its first president.
The purpose of the club as stated in Article I of the Constitution is: “To promote interest in the fine and applied arts in Hackensack and surrounding communities”.

This exhibition is an expression of love for Art. As artists we are able to communicate no just our feelings or perceptions, but also our dreams.
Some of our members have been part of the Hackensack Art Club for more than 45 years.
