One Hospitalized in Multi-Car Crash on Teaneck Road
Two cars collided, sending a tire into a third vehicle, police said.
One person was hospitalized in a crash involving three vehicles at Teaneck Road and State Street Tuesday afternoon, police said.
A blue Honda was traveling south on Teaneck Road as a black Honda was making a left turn on State Street when the two cars collided around 2:45 p.m., said police Lt. Tanya Balser. A tire from one of the cars flew off, hitting a mini-van on State Street.
The driver of the blue Honda was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with facial lacerations, police said. The injuries were not life-threatening.

Police closed Teaneck Road at Tryon Avenue and State Street near Lozier Place. The southbound lanes of Teaneck Road, near the Walgreens, were also blocked.
The Teaneck Fire Department and Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to the scene, along with township police and paramedics from Holy Name Medical Center.
