Teaneck Chamber of Commerce Honors Local Community Leaders
14 Receive Teaneck Chamber of Commerce "Community Service Awards" at Annual Dinner

At the organization’s 18th Annual Community Service Awards Dinner, the Teaneck Chamber of Commerce honored 14 civic, business and community leaders for their dedication to the community. The award recipients, who all took the podium at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe, were previously announced.
“We are excited to recognize this year’s recipients for all they do in support of our community. Their involvement and contributions serve as an inspiration to all,” said Teaneck Chamber President Larry Bauer. “Teaneck is a community of great diversity — people, arts, culture — with tremendous assets like our workforce talent and education.”

Retired Teaneck Judge James Young served as the evening’s Emcee. The program opened with the Pledge of Allegiance by Joyce Gonzalez, recipient of this year’s Teaneck’s Military Veterans award; the singing of the “National Anthem” by Gabrielle Cintron, a Bogota High School senior and member of the Dance Art Creative Center in Teaneck. Reverend Daniel J. Meys of Restoration Community Church delivered the invocation.
