Teaneck Education Foundation Announces Fundraiser

TOPS is working with Hackensack-based Liberty Tax Service.

The following was submitted by the Teaneck Organization for Public Schools:

TOPS’ latest fundraising effort is in partnership with Liberty Tax Service of Hackensack, who has pledged to give each new client a $20 discount this year off the fee for income tax preparation, and will donate an additional $20 to TOPS.  Coupons and more information are available at each Teaneck school in the principals’ office, in the library or by contacting TOPS.  While TOPS is in no way affiliated with Liberty Tax Service, the board is grateful for their help to increase donations for our education foundation.

Founded in 1991, The Teaneck Organization for Public Schools (TOPS) is Teaneck's non-profit education foundation exclusively dedicated to raising funds that foster educational opportunity for more than 4,400 Teaneck Public School children.  TOPS operates independently from the Teaneck School District and its Board of Directors is composed of private and public sector residents.  These dedicated volunteers have worked hard each year running fundraisers such as art auctions, Bloomingdales Charity Shopping Day, sale of THS notecards, holiday giftwrapping at Borders, etc., as well as seeking alternate funding, donations and grants to support high-quality public education in Teaneck.
