Schools will be closed on Thursday, November 3rd. This afternoon, I participated in a conference call with the Teaneck Township Emergency Management Team. They informed me that a danger exists in travel to and from school. Despite their progress today in clearing wires and fallen debris, the streets are still not safe.

Parent conferences scheduled for tomorrow evening at the elementary schools (Whittier, Hawthorne and Lowell) are postponed.

Please caution your children to exercise care if they must walk or ride in the streets.
