Teaneck Public Schools Have Half-Day Thursday

Teaneck Public Schools will be on a half-day schedule Thursday due to the extreme heat, the district said Wednesday. 

The following information was provided by the Teaneck Public Schools: 

• Afternoon Pre-K sessions at Bryant School are cancelled
• All after-school programs including SACC childcare are cancelled
• No lunch will be served
• Working Parent Association (WPA) programs will remain in session
• Community Education EVENING programs will remain in session

Students attending Field trips at Hawthorne and Whittier Schools will still be transported to their regular bus stops when they return to school from their field trip. Crossing guards will be at crosswalks for students walking home.
