
College student Racquel Clarke, of Teaneck, received an honorable mention in the 2011 Newark Innovation Acceleration Challenge for her business concept, according to a news release.
In the competition, Clarke pitched the idea for Mango Way, "a social enterprise concept to reduce obesity in low-income populations through a community-based, affordable fitness initiative," the release said.
The contest was a joint program with Capital One Bank and NJIT.
