PROPERTY TAX PAYMENT GRACE PERIOD EXTENDED

Pursuant to Executive Order 130 signed by Governor Phil Murphy on April 28, 2020, property tax payment due May 1, 2020 has an extended grace period.

The EO 130 is defined as: The second quarter property tax payment due May 1, 2020 having a final date in which payment will be considered on time no later than June 1, 2020.

If payment is not made by June 1, 2020, interest will begin to accrue on June 2, 2020 at the rate of 8% per annum on the first $1500.00 and 18% per annum on the remaining balance and is calculated from the original due date of May 1.
