Wife of Fox News Host Walks in 5K Fundraiser to Honor Donor, Support Others Waiting for a Transplant

Yvonne Payne of Teaneck (pictured in middle, holding banner and wearing blue hat), the wife of Fox Business Network host Charles Payne, is all smiles with members of “Team Sammi Girl” at NJ Sharing Network’s 4th Annual 5K Walk & USATF Certified Race on June 8 in New Providence. Yvonne Payne received a life-saving heart transplant in 2012. Her donated heart came from child actress Sammi Kane Kraft, whose tragic death in a California car crash meant a new heart and a new chance at life for Payne. Yvonne and Charles Payne recruited family members and friends to walk in honor of Yvonne’s heart donor. 

Nearly 9,000 people, all touched in some way by organ and tissue donation, walked or ran in the event to help raise awareness and funds for organ donation.
