Veteran's Memorial Park

We are back for the fall season at picturesque Veterans Park located on Broadway and 3rd Ave. in Westwood, NJ. The Harvestfest Craft Fair &amp; Antique &amp; Gift Corner held on Sunday, October 4, from 10 to 5 features one hundred &amp; twenty-five talented exhibitors, from three states, with art &amp; crafts and an area with antiques &amp; collectibles and gifts. This is the perfect opportunity to plan a fun day out to enjoy a fall day at this perfect shopping event.
The show features a wide variety of gift-giving items for everyone in the family or a special purchase for yourself. At the art &amp; craft area you can browse through stained glass, train station prints, jewelry, fiber, woodyard signs, apparel, hair accessories, bonsai, resin art, Halloween, holiday items, quilts, photography, florals, pottery, ceramics, and pet &amp; kid’s items. Also, birdhouses, license plate and dried floral art, candles, olive oils, charcuterie boards, home decor, baked goods, and much more will be available. A selection of gifts booths will also be on display featuring boutique clothing, purses, jewelry, gloves, and wood soft sculpture. 
Treasures can be found among the items on display at the antique &amp; collectible area featuring estate &amp; costume jewelry, ephemera, bric a brac, silver, pottery, glassware, primitives and more. You will have the perfect opportunity to shop for that hidden gem. 
Festival food, pretzels, pickles, desserts, Italian ice, and kettle korn will be available. The fair offers something for everyone. Join us for a day of furry friends, community, and the opportunity to help pets in need find loving homes! On Sunday, October 4th, we are hosting our 6th Annual Pet Adoption Day (from 11am-3pm) at our Elmwood Park Financial Center at 680 River Drive, Elmwood Park NJ. Five local rescue organizations will be bringing their adoptable pets to the Financial Center parking lot to find their fur-ever homes! There will also be refreshments, food and giveaways. We hope to see you there!

Presbyterian Church in Leonia

Chamber musicians Theresa Norris, flute, Chris Cullen, clarinet, Janey Choi, violin, Daryl Goldberg, cello and Beth Robin, piano, perform two audience favorites by Franz Schubert. Guest artist American soprano&nbsp;Melissa Fogarty will sing ”The Shepherd on the Rock", D. 965, a Lied for Soprano, Clarinet, and Piano , and also sing the popular art song “Die Forelle” as heard in the Piano Quintet in A major, D. 667 (Forellenquintett for Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello and Double bass). Guest artists Junah Chung, viola and Deb Spohnheimer, bass will join the chamber musicians for a complete performance of the “Trout” Quintet. Also on the program is the eloquent and recently composed Trio No. 2 by Edgar F. Girtain IV, for Flute, Violin and Cello. Admission is free. A donation is suggested at the door.
