Adderall, Suboxone Seized, Pair Charged In Toms River Bust: OCPO

Authorities say the pair were seen conducting a drug transaction not far from Community Medical Center.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Two men were arrested Wednesday and Adderal and suboxone seized after detectives witnesses what appeared to be an illegal drug transaction near Hospital Drive in Toms River, the Ocean County prosecutor's office announced Thursday.

David J. Jannarone, 49, of Toms River and Paul T. Kulberda, 37, of Ocean Gate were arrested in the April 3 incident, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.

Detectives from the prosecutor's office Narcotics Strike Force were conducting a street-level drug suppression detail in the area of Hospital Drive — near Community Medical Center — when they saw the two men and "suspicious activity indicative of an illegal drug sale," the prosecutor's office said.

Detectives approached the two men, and as a result of the detective’s interaction, unspecified quantities of the two drugs were seized and the two were arrested and taken to the Toms River Police Department.

Jannarone was charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance (Adderall); possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance; two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance; and possession of drug paraphernalia, and released on a summons pending a future court date.
