Brush Fire Slowing Traffic On Parkway In Toms River: Sheriff
The brush fire is affecting the northbound lanes, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — A brush fire on the northbound side of the Garden State Parkway is affecting traffic traveling on the Parkway through Toms River on Tuesday morning, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said.
An alert from the sheriff's office issued about 11:30 a.m. warned of delays on the Parkway.
The fire was off Highland Parkway behind the former Chase bank branch near the former Foodtown in the Toms River Shopping Plaza, Ocean County Scanner News reported.
