Cartooning Lessons for Kids Coming to the Barnegat Branch of the Ocean County Library

BARNEGAT – Join author Mike Dawson for “Cartooning Lessons – Telling Your Stories Using the Language of Comics” at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 at the Barnegat Branch of the Ocean County Library.

Dawson will lead this cartooning workshop with hands-on drawing exercises sure to get your eyes, hands, and mind engaged. The workshop will be followed by a book signing. Bring your own copy to be signed or purchases can be made at the event.

This program is for kids aged 8 to 12.

Mike Dawson is an award-winning cartoonist. His middle-grade novels include The Fifth Quarter, The Fifth Quarter: Hard Court, and his newest book, The Hidden Dominion of Geordie James.
