Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with Betsy Ross at the Waretown Library

WARETOWN – Bring the past to life and celebrate America’s 250^th anniversary with a special living-history performance of Betsy Ross at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 6 at the Waretown Branch of the Ocean County Library.

Historian performer Alisa Dupuy of the Ladies of History will play Betsy Ross – upholsterer, flag maker, patriot, and founding mother. Through Dupuy’s storytelling and historical insights, learn about Betsy Ross’s significant role in early America and the spirit of independence that helped shape our nation.

This program is part of the Ocean County Library’s celebration of the United States’ 250^th anniversary, made possible through the generous support of the Ocean County Library Foundation. The Ocean County Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization now in its 25^th year of enhancing services and opportunities to all OCL users.
