Chili-Cooking Firefighters Invited To Compete In Toms River

The Pleasant Plains Volunteer Fire Department is looking for entrants for its Firefigher Chili Cook-Off; winner chosen by public vote.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Do you cook a chili so hot even the devil thinks it's hot? Do you make a chili so flavorful that it's gone in a whisper?

If you're a member of a fire department who also makes a mean chili, the Pleasant Plains Volunteer Fire Department is inviting you to compete in its annual Firefighter Chili Cook-Off.
