The Laramie Project is a play by Moisés Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project about the reaction to the 1998 murder of University of Wyoming gay student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. For the people of Laramie the event was deeply personal, and it is their voices heard in this stunningly effective theatre piece performed in the Black Box Theatre in the Academic Wing of the Arts Complex.
