Frazier Homers in Reds Big Win

T.R. South graduate rebounds, scoring twice in victory

Despite his recent struggles, former Toms River little league national champion Todd Frazier had a bounce-back game Saturday night, going 1-3, belting his fourth home run of his career and scoring twice in the Reds 13-1 victory over the San Diego Padres in Cincinnati.

Frazier lead off the bottom of the second with a solo home run, padding the Reds' early lead, and getting off a recent slump offensivley.

He would later walk in the bottom of the third inning and come around to score.

The former Toms River South Indian also lined out to left field in the bottom of the fifth inning and lined out to right field in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Ryan Hannigan blasted a three-run home run after Frazier's walk in the bottom of the third inning, sending him home for his second run in as many innings.

Frazier played his normal third base and batted seventh in the lineup.

The Reds scored runs in five innings - and scored five in the third inning alone - to lead themselves to the big victory.

Frazier is now batting .212 on the year and has been shifted from fifth in the lineup to eighth on a daily basis.
