
Former Toms River Little League hero Todd Frazier went 1-3, Tuesday night for the Cincinnati Reds, playing left field for the first time in 2011 in a 5-1 win over the Houston Astros at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas.
With his only hit coming as a line-drive single to center field to lead off the top of the seventh inning, Frazier put the ball in play in all three of his at-bats.
The Toms River High School South graduate popped out to second base to end the top of the second inning, and grounded out to third base after Cincinnati took the lead in the top of the fifth inning.

Frazier cracked his first major league home run in his last start -- Sunday afternoon -- in a 9-0 win over the Giants.
Since being called up nearly two weeks ago for the second time, Frazier has appeared in nine games -- starting five -- and has had 23 at-bats.
He has posted a .261 average, scoring three times, and driving in four runs on six hits.
