Giveaways, Free Food And Fun At South Toms River National Night Out
The event includes first responder vehicles, a helicopter landing and much more.

SOUTH TOMS RIVER, NJ — Bring your kids and head over to the South Toms River National Night Out event Tuesday evening for free food and lots of fun.
The event is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at South Toms River Elementary School.
"Come on out, spark up some conversations, meet your neighbors, your first responders and elected officials in a relaxed care-free environment," South Toms River officials said.

There will be plenty of free food, as Luigi’s Deli and Meat Market will be providing free hot dogs, bag of chips and a water bottle to every attendee, organizers said.
Fork in the Road food truck will be on hand for other dining options.

South Toms River's fiirst responders will have emergency vehicles on display, and the South Toms River Youth Baseball League will have plenty of goodies and will be handing out free ice pops right by their dunk tank.
South Toms River Recreation Commission will be handing out free bags of popcorn, and the South Toms River Elementary PTO will have fun games for the kids to play for some cool prizes.
South Toms River PBA Local 368 will be raffling off a Nexgrill 5 burner propane gas grill, Luigi’s gift cards, Jersey Shore Blueclaws 4-pack of tickets and several other local organizations will have additional prizes to raffle off.
The first 500 attendees will receive a Wawa gift bag that contains the orange raffle ticket for these amazing giveaways.
Special thank you to Toms River Township for providing their Sensory Activation Vehicle that will be on hand for those individuals and families needing a break from the busy and most likely noisy event.
The schedule of events is as follows:
- 4 p.m.: Event begins
- 4:30 p.m.: Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K9 demonstration
- 5:15 p.m.: NJ Forest Fire Service helicopter landing with Smokey the Bear
- 6 p.m.: Evolution Martial Arts demonstration / Appearance by Buster from the Jersey Shore BlueClaws
- 6:30 p.m.: Southpaw Boxing demonstration / Ocean County Regional SWAT Bearcat display
- 7:15 p.m.: Raffle prizes are called
- 8 p.m.: Event ends
