Italian Festival, Columbus Day Parade Take Over Seaside Streets

Entertainment, arts and crafts and all of the glorious Italian food you could want. Don't forget the parade on Sunday!

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — The annual Italian Festival is under way in Seaside Heights, with arts, crafts, entertainment and all the Italian food you could want.

The festival continues until 10 p.m. on Saturday and is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

There is a variety of performances scheduled throughout the weekend, and on Sunday the 27nd annual Columbus Day Parade steps off at 1 p.m. on the Boulevard. Dennis Filippone, who lives in Lacey and served as interim superintendent of the Brick Township Schools, where he has been an educator for more than 40 years, is this year's grand marshal.
