Local Author Katy Tanis to Host Live Reading & Craft for Kids at the Plumsted Library

PLUMSTED – Join us for a book reading with local author and illustrator Katy Tanis at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 23 at the Plumsted Branch of the Ocean County Library. Tanis will be reading her latest book Love Under the Sea and creating a banana sea creature craft.

Katy Tanis is a children’s book author, illustrator, and explorer. Her award-winning artwork has been featured on products and in art shows around the world. She has an M.A. in Biology from Miami University, a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.F.A. in Art from Carnegie Mellon University. Her works include Animal Olympics, Love Under the Sea, Love in the Wild, I Am the Jungle, Edward and Annie, and The Highly Sensitive Rabbit.

This program is for ages 5 to 12.
