Looking To Volunteer? Open House Aims To Connect Ocean County Nonprofits With Helpers
The Affordable Housing Alliance and Toms River Housing and Homeless Coalition are hosting an open house to connect volunteers and charities.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you have been looking for a place to contribute to the community, a group of nonprofits are holding an open house to connect volunteers with organizations in need of helping hands.
The open house, hosted by the Affordable Housing Alliance and the Toms River Housing and Homeless Coalition, is set for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17.
It will be in the Parish House building, at 405 Washington St., Toms River, at the western side of the parking lot connected with Christ Episcopal Church.

Not everyone can afford to donate money, and for those who would like to donate time, the open house is a chance to connect with organizations that could benefit from your energy, time and talents.
The following organizations are seeking volunteers and are scheduled to be participating in the open house:

"Come feel a sense of service, community, connection and purpose," the organizers said.
