Man Sought In Toms River Bank Robbery Attempt: Police

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who tried to rob the TD Bank on Fischer Boulevard on Tuesday.

The robbery attempt happened about 11 a.m., Toms River Police Capt. Michael Belcher said Wednesday. The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing a dark winter hat, a dark coat, and glasses. He had a full beard and a mustache, Belcher said.

Police provided photos from the bank's surveillance system.
