Missing Toms River Girl Found Safe

TOMS RIVER, NJ -- Ashley Combs, the 17-year-old Toms River North senior who has been missing since Friday has been found safe, Toms River police said Wednesday night.

She was found by Toms River police detectives; Jillian Messina of the Toms River Police Department said further detalus would be released Thursday.

Her father, Rob Nieratko, posted a message to Facebook thanking everyone who had assisted in the search.

"I just received a phone call from the Toms River Police," he said in a post about 8 p.m. "Ashley has been located and is in police custody at the moment. I want to thank every for all of their assistance in helping to find her."
