The 46th graduating class of Monsignor Donovan High School is 219 students strong.
At the top of the class is valedictorian Nicholas Paggi of Bayville, who provided the honors address for the graduation ceremony, held June 6 at St. Joseph's Church in Toms River.
In his speech, Paggi recognized veteran Mon Don Physics teacher John Navarra. “While all my teachers have been great, I would personally like to thank Mr. Navarra especially. Out of my four years at Monsignor Donovan, I cumulatively spent almost a year in your classes. You taught me a lot, and really influenced my goals for the future,” said Paggi, according to a transcript from the district. Paggi will be attending Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
