Person Of Interest Sought In Connection With Seaside Heights Fire
Authorities believe the person seen in surveillance video has relevant information.
SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking the public's help in contacting a person of interest in connection with a fire that happened last week on Franklin Avenue.
The Major Crimes Unit is investigating the fire that happened about 7:40 a.m. on Oct. 30. Seaside Heights police and the Seaside Heights Fire Department responded to a smoke alarm call at a Franklin Avenue apartment, the prosecutor's office said.
Surveillance video captured a person of interest who may have more information related to the case. Anyone with any information or who may know the identity of the person in the video/photos is asked to please contact Detective Thomas Haskell Jr. of the prosecutor's office at 732-929-2027, ext. 3953, or Seaside Heights Detective Michael McCurdy at 732-793-1800.
