Public Benefits for Older Adults at the Waretown Library

WARETOWN – Financial planning is crucial for older Americans. AARP will present “Public Benefits for Older Adults” at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 25 at the Waretown Branch of the Ocean County Library.

This presentation will demonstrate how you or a loved one can help supplement your income and decrease your spending by securing the essentials, eligible benefits, discounts, and crucial refunds. It will cover the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Affordable Connectivity Program, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, Medicare Savings Programs, and the Medicare Extra Help Plan. Attendees will walk away with easy access to resources to apply for these programs.
