Raw Heroin, 'Crack' Cocaine Seized In Seaside Raids: OCPO
Two Seaside Heights motel rooms and a Toms River home were raided simultaneously, four people were arrested, the prosecutor's office said.
SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — Raw heroin, packaged heroin doses and crack cocaine were seized in raids at a pair of Seaside Heights motel rooms and a Toms River home last week, the Ocean County prosecutor's office said Monday.
Four people were arrested during the raids, which resulted from a monthlong investigation into drug distribution in Ocean County, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Rayvon Thomas, 33, and Tamika Tims, 34, both of Seaside Heights; and Kareem Thomas, 37, and Jasmine Worthy, 25, of Toms River, all were arrested in the simultaneous no-knock raids on March 21, he said.

Authorities seized raw, unpackaged heroin, heroin packaged for resale, "crack" cocaine and marijuana. The prosecutor's office did not say how much of each was seized. In addition, drug paraphernalia associated with the manufacture, production and distribution of heroin also was seized.
Rayvon Thomas was charged with knowingly maintaining a controlled dangerous substance production facility; possession of heroin over one-half ounce with intent to distribute; possession of heroin of less than one-half ounce with intent to distribute; conspiracy to distribute heroin; possession of heroin; possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Ocean County Jail awaiting a detention hearing.

Tims was charged with knowingly maintaining a controlled dangerous substance production facility; possession of heroin over one-half ounce with intent to distribute; possession of heroin; possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held at the jail pending a detention hearing.
Kareem Thomas was charged with possession of heroin; possession of cocaine, and possession of prescription pain medication without a valid prescription and released pending a future court date.
Worthy was charged with possession of heroin and possession of cocaine and released pending a future court date.
Billhimer highlighted the collaborative efforts and cooperation of the law enforcement agencies involved in the bust, which included detectives from the prosecutor's office Narcotics Strike Force, Seaside Heights and Toms River police. The search warrants were executed by prosecutor's office detectives, the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, Seaside Heights police officers and the Toms River Police Emergency Services Unit and Special Enforcement Team.
