Route 37 Stretch 2nd-Most Dangerous In State: Report
An analysis looked at how many crashes occurred on the various highways in New Jersey to come up with the rankings.

Anyone who has ever driven Route 37 toward Seaside Heights on a Friday night will not be surprised to learn it is ranked the second-most dangerous stretch of highway in New Jersey.
According to a report by NJ.com, the road is second only to a stretch of Route 22 in Union Township for number of crashes.
The NJ.com report said its analysis of state Department of Transportation crash statistics for 2014 showed eight highways in the state that have the most crash-prone areas. They were determined to be dangerous based on having hundreds of crashes on relatively short sections of highway that have some hefty traffic volumes.
