Seaside Heights Announces 2017 Movies On The Beach

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — Seaside Heights has released its summer schedule for movies on the beach for the 2017 season.

The family-friendly showings will be held every Sunday and Tuesday beginning with the Fourth of July (yes, you read that correctly). The movie series kicks off with Jaws on July 4 and runs through Aug. 29 and is held on the beach at Carteret Avenue.

The movies are free and begin at dusk; bring a blanket or other item to sit on.

The schedule is as follows:

• Sunday, July 9: The Secret Life of Pets
• Tuesday, July 11: Big Hero 6
• Sunday, July 16: The Wild Life
• Tuesday, July 18: The Lego Batman Movie
• Sunday, July 23: Storks
• Tuesday, July 25: The Angry Birds Movie
• Sunday, July 30: Finding Dory
• Tuesday, Aug. 1: Wreck-It Ralph
• Sunday, Aug. 6: Moana
• Tuesday, Aug. 8: Monsters University
• Sunday, Aug. 13: Despicable Me 2
• Tuesday, Aug. 15: Minions
• Sunday, Aug. 20: The BFG
• Tuesday, Aug. 22: Sing
• Sunday, Aug. 27: Finding Nemo
• Tuesday, Aug. 29: Beauty and the Beast
