TOMS RIVER, NJ — As the family of a Seaside Park man prepares for a memorial service to honor him, they are still seeking answers about the fatal crash where he died a week ago.

William D. Woloszyn, 57, of Seaside Park, was killed in the March 7 crash on the southbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey State Trooper Charles Marchan confirmed to Patch on Wednesday.

State police have released few details about the crash, which happened about 8:15 a.m. at milemarker 81.6. Woloszyn's silver Toyota Corolla collided with a truck driven by Edward Hawks of Bayville, Marchan told the Asbury Park Press.

A member of Woloszyn's family who contacted Patch said they still have not received an explanation of what led to the crash.
